Admissions Requirements

In a 2018 survey conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council, 94 percent of alumni from business graduate schools said their education was personally rewarding, and 93 percent said that, knowing what they know now, they would pursue a graduate education again.

Admissions requirements

To be admitted to the online M.B.A. program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Complete all prerequisites before enrolling in core courses
  • Receive a minimum GMAT score of 400 or an equivalent score on the GRE
  • Earn a minimum Index Score of 950, which is calculated according to the following formula:
    GPA x 200 + GMAT (or GRE equivalent) = 950 or greater
    Upper Division GPA x 200 + GMAT (or GRE equivalent) = 1000 or greater

Required application materials

  • Completed online application
  • Application fee
  • Transcripts from all postsecondary schools attended
  • Official GMAT or GRE score report
  • TOEFL/IELTS scores (international students only)

Pay the $35 application fee online when you submit your application.


When you submit your application, you may include unofficial transcripts from the colleges or universities you have previously attended. If you receive an offer of admission, you must request that your past institutions send official transcripts directly to the College of Graduate Studies before you will be allowed to register for classes. The transcripts should be mailed to:

Official GMAT/GRE scores

GMAT scores should be sent directly from the testing provider to the Business Administration program:
